• GnuPG (GNU Privacy Guard) is a complete and free implementation of the OpenPGP standard.

  Here are installers for windows (Gpg4win), OSX (GPGtools) and linux (GnuPG download)

• PGP  (Pretty Good Privacy) is a paid version from Symantec

• Fanden's GnuPG / PGP public key

• Encryption Wizard (public version) runs in java without install on Windows, Mac & Linux

• True Crypt Free open-source disk encryption software for Windows 7/Vista/XP, Mac OS X, and Linux.
  True Crypt can also be used to fill disks with random data before reuse or disposal.

Terminals

• uCon (a terminal emulator aimed at the needs of embedded systems users and developers)

Viewers

• Adobe Acrobat viewer (for *.PDF files)

• Foxit a viewer for *.PDF files which has less onerous conditions than Adobe (a Foxit PDF creator is also available)

• Replica Viewer  (for *.RPL files),   Replica is similar to Acrobat & was widely used by 'Engineers on Line' (IEAust), now rarely used.
